Purpose of the role:
The CMMS / Pronto Specialist is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Pronto CMMS system. This role ensures that all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment data are accurately recorded and analyzed to support the maintenance and reliability teams. The CMMS / Pronto Specialist is also responsible for the review, improvement, and ongoing management of master data to ensure the system’s effectiveness and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the Pronto CMMS system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
Support maintenance and planning teams by configuring the system to capture all work orders, equipment history, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Review and improve master data, including equipment hierarchies, BOMs (Bills of Materials), maintenance plans, and asset details to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Conduct regular audits of master data and implement corrective actions to address discrepancies or gaps in data.
Generate and analyze reports on equipment performance, work order compliance, and maintenance KPIs.
Collaborate with reliability engineers to develop asset care strategies and optimize equipment performance based on data analytics.
Train maintenance and planning personnel in the effective use of Pronto for maintenance work management.
Continuously improve Pronto functionality by working with IT and system vendors to implement upgrades, patches, and new features.
Ensure that data governance policies are adhered to and that master data updates are processed in accordance with best practices and FQM standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with CMMS, preferably Pronto, within a mining or industrial environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from maintenance data.
Experience in managing and improving master data within a CMMS.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
