The key purpose of this job is to assist in controlling all movement of stock through the Warehouse and to ensure the safe guarding of company assets & inventory whilst minimizing risk, fraud & losses by ensuring compliance to stock management and control processes & procedures. The role reports to the Stock Controller.

Control Inventory

• Ensure all stock can be accounted for
• Capturing movement of stock on the system
• Recommend optimal Warehouse layout
• Prepares the system for Stock count
• Monitor Warehouse breakages
• Receive and verify stock from supplier
• Receive RTS
• Monitors stock for stock rotation and initiates the write-off of stock.
• Circulate weekly/monthly stock report

Administration

• Complied with SHEQ & VPO requirements
• Compliance to all Quality requirements
• Ensures compliance to 5S requirements

Efficiency Forum

• Judgement and decision making
• Agile in thinking and nimble in decision making
• Adept at discerning and balancing the most important priorities (simplifies complexity)
• Simplifies the decision-making process for self and others
• Efficiently applies rigor and operating discipline to ensure decisions are made on a timely basis
• Assesses and makes clear trade-offs when making critical decisions
• Proven ability to foresee and take action against potential risks to the business/system as a whole
