To receive, maintain issue and account for stores items in order to provide efficient and effective support to all user departments in line with the store policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that deliveries for supplies, materials, equipment and services are scheduled to ensure minimal disruption to store and NAPSA business operations.
  • Ensure that store records and reports are kept in a safe, accurate, complete and updated manner to support easy access and retrieval when required in the management of store operations.
  • Ensure goods are received into the store in line with the NAPSA store management policies and procedures to ensure the goods received are of the right quality and quantity.
  • Ensure that stock checks are conducted in line with the NAPSA timelines in order to identify wear or defects, to ensure such stock is replaced and accounted for in the books of accounts for cost management purposes.
  • Provide suggestions on areas of improvement in the management of stock for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of service.
  • Prepare documentation required in the management of stores to enhance efficiency in the management of store operations.
  • Ensure that the stock items in the stock master file in the system are updated.
  • Prepare monthly reports on all Stores transactions
  • 5 “O” Levels with credit and above including Mathematics and English
  • Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Supply, Bachelor of Business Administration or Equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
  • Not less than three (3) years of experience in stores or procurement at an organization with similar size of operations .
