Zambia Jobs is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, distribution, and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage the procurement of goods and services from suppliers.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor and optimize transportation and distribution networks.
• Analyze supply chain performance and implement improvements.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management processes and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
