Zambia Jobs is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain process. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory, distribution, and logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Manage the procurement of goods and services from suppliers.

Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal stock levels.

Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

Monitor and optimize transportation and distribution networks.

Analyze supply chain performance and implement improvements.

Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
Requirements:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

In-depth knowledge of supply chain management processes and best practices.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

A professional certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS) is a plus.
Skills:

Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
