Supply Planner

Hire: Tanzania, Zambia or DRC

Your responsibilities

• Working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
• Working on import and export related activities
• Coordinating with logistics providers and managing shipping schedules
• Coordinating transportation and distribution of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers and warehouses
• Optimizing logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Planning and managing logistics, including transportation and warehousing
• Ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers
• Ensuring coordination with relevant stakeholders regarding any improvement activities related to inventory control
• Defining the minimum stock level to meet the forecast expectations and having close cooperation with finance teams

Our requirements

• Degree Logistics, Economy a related field, or min. 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of logistics and procurement (especially import, export)
• Very good command of English (spoken and written min. B2)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, PowerBI, Power Point)
• Effective organisational and planning skills
