Project Description
The purpose of the Activity is to assist the Zambian Ministry of Education (MOE) in delivering foundational learning (early literacy and numeracy), with the goal of improving learning outcomes in lower primary grades (grades 1-3)
Position Description
The Technical Director will be responsible for overseeing supporting the MoE and particularly working with the CDC to review, develop and adapt materials for the foundational learning package, as well as the development of the training and coaching materials and to support the training of national, provincial and district level trainers. S/he will work closely with the technical advisors to develop an integrated remediation strategy for grades 1-3.
