JOB DETAILS:

The primary objective of the Teller is to accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for EFC customersincluding accepting depositsand withdrawals and processing loan payments/ money transfers. This position is also accountable to promote and advise customers on the EFC’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform deposits and withdrawals in cash up to the authorized amount.
Remit a receipt for all the transactions to the client.
Make all the cashinflows or outflows from the cash box.
Carry out the cash transfers from or to the reserve, if necessary, through the Branch Manager.
Complete the sheet for the detail of the cash in hand (cash balance) at the end of the day.
At the end of the day, count the cash in hand, write this in detail on the sheet for the detail of the cash in hand and make sure that the balance of the cash is equal to the corresponding accounting item.
Make the necessary research to trace the discrepancies found.
Declare any cash shortage or surplus.
Perform the operations to open or close a day.
Report to the Branch Manager for the accounting tasks at the end of the day.
Correctly file the documents in their appropriate places.
Give the supporting documents, forms, reports, and any other document to the Branch manager.
Answer inquiries regarding EFC related products to customers.
Perform any other relevant duties given by the superior.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
