Job description:
Overall Job Purpose
-
The role will be responsible for attending to tool store management and parts staging management and organization. The role will also manage both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy and integrity of the store/s inventory records under your direction including all associated documentation and recording keeping for accounting purposes.
Specific Job Responsibility

Tool Store management, ensure tools are booked out and received correctly

Maintain tooling register
-
Keep tool store clean and free of all hazards
-
Maintain parts staging area in an orderly fashion
-
Return / credit parts to main warehouse after the agreed time limit
-
Ensure rotable repairs items are packaged, labelled and processed correctly
-
Collect weekly pre-picks
-
Enter parts received into receiving book
-
Keep record of workshop tools and equipment
-
Carrying out of inventory of parts on monthly basis
-
Tagging keys for all the containers that are at the workshop
-
Supervise cleaning of the workshop
-
Maintain good levels of consumables such as degreaser, hand cleaner, brake fluid, PPE, etc.

Experience required to perform in this job

2 years’ inventory control and logistical experience.

Previous experience working in a warehouse or tool store
-
Computer literate
-
Experience in inventory systems
Qualifications
-
Minimum Diploma in a Mechanical Field
-
Project Management certification
-
Certificate in warehouse/logistics or equivalent
