Lumwana Mining Company seeks to recruit a highly motivated and committed employee for the position of a
Tool Store Person
to join the versatile Process Maintenance team. We are in search of an individual who can champion Barrick’s DNA by:

Reporting to the Maintenance Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for the distribution of tools and equipment to support end users.
Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
-
To ensure the accurate identification and labelling of all workshop hand tools and equipment.

To ensure that goods requiring special handling or storage risk are handled as per safety policy and requirements.

Daily issuing hand tools and equipment to end users.
-
Maintain clean and efficient tool room premises and a properly maintained clean yard by applying “clean as you go” on all tasks undertaken.

Keep an up-to-date record of the workshop tools and equipment.
-
Fully responsible for the quality of work.

Stock and direct charge items within the designated area, such that they arrive at the correct location and at the right time.

Safely transport and deliver requisitioned stock and direct charge items outside of the designated area.

Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area both during and after completing a job/task
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

Full Grade 12 Certificate
-
Minimum of a Craft Certificate in Mechanical Fitting or Equivalent
-
Minimum 2 years working experience in maintenance preferably in the mining environment.

Must be Computer literacy with competence in MS excel with exposure to SAP or equivalent.
-
Must have Valid Zambian driving license.
-
Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia
