Reporting to the Training Coordinator – Process and Safety, you will be responsible for facilitating Safety and Specific inductions. i.e., Mining, Process. Maintenance, Job Safety Analysis. Field Level Risk Assessment, Fatigue Management, Confined Space, Isolation, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, etc.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following
:

Oversee all correspondence, data and information for other sections or departments.

Provide technical and administrative assistance to the department staff, maintenance, and management.
-
Research and recommend innovative approaches to systems and administration tasks. Suggest opportunities to leverage resources within the department and provide economies of scale.

Responsible for a fully functional Competence Module and Damstra, and update information for planning, reporting, and recommending Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Develop training plans, calendars, and flow charts.

Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classrooms, virtual training, on – the – job coaching.

Provide training support for Trainers including scheduling class time. Registering participants and providing materials.

Facilitate Induction training and other soft skills training.

Provide feedback to programme participants and management.
-
Provide direction and guidance on training and assessment related matters.

Prepare clear, concise, and accurate training reports, correspondences, analytical studies, and other written materials.
To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following qualifications, experience, skills, and attributes:

Grade Twelve Certificate
-
Technical qualification in either Mining, Processing or Maintenance or any relevant qualification
-
Certificate in Safety and Health will be an added advantage.

TEVETA accreditation as Trainer / Assessor will be an added advantage.
-
Minimum 2 Years experience in Mining or Processing Operations or Mine Maintenance
-
Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) added advantage.

Teaching Methodology
-
Facilitation / Presentative / Coaching skills
