Transport and Logistics Coordinator
Beatmas Human Resource Consultants Ltd is recruiting for Mulungushi International Conference Centre Ltd, a premier International Conference Centre, seeking a highly skilled and passionate
Transport and Logistics Coordinator
to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to supervise the use and maintenance of MICCL vehicles in order to provide an efficient and effective transport service to the Organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Plans all aspects of the transportation program in order to ensure efficiency in service delivery.

Allocates drivers to various vehicles and user sections and monitors their
performance

Coordinates the maintenance of driver log records required for compliance with government regulations in order to ensure adherence to the same.

Inspects vehicles for defects and safe operating conditions before, during, and after trips and carries out minor repairs, if necessary, in order to keep the vehicles in road worthy condition.

Ensures that Drivers clean their assigned vehicles by washing, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing them as necessary to ensure they are neat and tidy.

Supervises, motivates, and disciplines staff in the section in order to achieve
sectional objectives.

Develops timely individual work plans with subordinates and monitors and reviews the performance of subordinates to ensure they meet their performance objectives/targets.

Prepares and submits adhoc and periodic reports to the Supervisor on fleet
performance.

Undertakes the delivery of goods and staff from one place to another.

Undertakes any other lawful, relevant duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
-
Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ Levels.

Certificate in Transport and Logistics
-
Craft Certificate in Mechanics
-
Driving License
-
Member of the transport and logistics
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
