Transport Planner

Job Description: Emerald Edge is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to develop and implement transportation plans and strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s transport operations. The Transport Planner will analyze transportation data and work to improve route planning and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement transportation plans to optimize routes and reduce costs.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with transportation goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of transportation systems and processes.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on data analysis.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of transport planning principles and logistics.
• Ability to work with data and develop actionable strategies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Logistics, Urban Planning, or a related field.

Skills:

• Proficiency in transportation planning software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transport planning or a related field.
