VAT/ Payroll/ Statutory returns associate

Responsibilities:

To implement VAT, Payroll and WHT compliance activities such as VAT, PAYE, WHT, NHIMA, NAPSA, WCFCB returns and statutory payments
Maintain strong client relationships

Applicant has to be well versed with Zambian tax laws and other statutory laws

Qualification

Full/part ACCA/ZICA/CIMA or degree in accounting
Minimum two years’ experience in VAT and payroll compliance
Experience with VIP and Micropay payroll systems is an added advantage
Excellent writing skills as well as strong analytical abilities
Demonstrated ability to set goals and develop priorities to ensure that work is completed with a high degree of accuracy within the context of completing deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player

Added advantage if applicant has prior working experience in an accounting firm.
