Our client, in Woodlands, is looking to hire a Waiter at their Lodge.
The role holder will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring guests have a pleasant and enjoyable time at our lodge restaurant.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes and specials.
• Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and efficiently.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive and personalized service.
• Process payments and provide accurate change or process electronic transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Uphold health and safety standards in food service.

Qualifications, Skills, Proficiencies, Experience, and Exposure :

• 2 years’ previous experience as a Waiter or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Basic math skills for order processing and payment transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of restaurant etiquette and service standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
