AGIC Energy Southern Africa Limited is a Zambian company focused on serving the East and Southern Africa energy markets with support from AGIC Energy Global Technology, an AGIC vertical company based in the USA, Dominican Republic, Spain, Ghana, Gambia and Tanzania.

AGIC Energy Southern Africa Limited Seeks to recruit suitably qualified individuals to fill out the following positions:

2. Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate with logistics to ensure that all comodities expected are recieved in good order, He/She will ensure that stock is accounted for at all times and stock records are kept clean and updated in a timeous manner.

Main Tasks

i. Manage all warehouse activities seamlessly including daily inventory planning, inventory accounting and management, Storage, logistical support and distribution, and administration of the AGIC Energy warranty policy.
ii. Ensure all safety requirements are met for the warehouse team i.e., Personal protective equipment is provided and worn, trainings, etc.
iii. Train and develop supervisors and department staff inclusive of completion and proper execution of work procedures, employee development, performance reviews, etc.
iv. Manage warehouse projects and initiatives and achieve desired results and client satisfaction within budget and schedule.
v. Track productivity to meet company’s requirements and maximize operational efficiency.
vi. Oversee the employee life cycle i.e., partner with HR to assist with recruitment activities/strategies, manage the onboarding process and participate in engagement activities to improve retention.
vii. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

i. Warehouse Management experience including vehicle loading and inventory forecasting, planning, accounting and inventory control.
ii. Knowledge of computer software and warehouse management systems
iii. Forklift certification added advantage.

Requirements
i. Client management experience developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
ii. Excellent verbal and written communication skills within all levels of an organization
iii. Ability to obtain forklift certification.
iv. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word
v. This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Qualification

i. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Purchase and supply
ii. 2 plus years of warehouse experience including vehicle loading and inventory forecasting and 2 plus years of people leadership experience.
