Wax Processor Officer Role at Forest Fruits Ltd. Lusaka, Zambia

Wax Processor – An internal Wax processor role involved with head office in our production and processing department. Must be able to operate a Palletizer. The Wax processor is responsible for set-up and operation of the automatic palletizer, stretch wrap machine, and related equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Experience working with production machinery such as conveyor belts and pumps.

· Experience in temperature monitoring.

· Able to lift heavy weight material.

· Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.

· A good level of neatness and consistency to accomplish job activities.

· Apply professional skill, knowledge & employability skills while performing jobs.

· Good skill levels and accuracy in the field of work/ assignment.

· Should be able to work under minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities are likely to include, but not be limited to

· Apply food production standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

· Read and interpret technical parameters/ documents, plan and organize work processes, identify necessary materials and tools.

· Check production parameters, quantities, or preparation methods for correct settings to meet process requirements.

· Clean and reinstate workstations, operate equipment and dispose off waste following the SOPs.

· Fill quality forms and daily recording of production processes.

· Monitor processing equipment and report cases of improper functions.

· Prepare workstations at the start of shift.

· Document the technical parameters related to the task undertaken.

· Perform tasks with due consideration to safety rules, accident prevention regulations and environmental protection stipulations.
