Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

WELDER – (HUNTLEY FARM) (01)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
-
Welding metal spare parts in various shapes
-
Identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment
-
Operating other accessory equipment and performing tasks necessary for welding metal
-
Controlling the processes of burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of spare parts;
-
Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met
-
Preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipment for welding
-
Ensuring welded parts are arranged in order before being assembled into final products
-
Maintaining a clean work environment
-
Completing job reports and processing paperwork
-
Any other duties as assigned by the superior / supervisor.
The Required Qualifications and Experience Include:
-
Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
-
Craft Certificate in Metal Fabrication or related field
-
Minimum 3 years of work experience in the same field.

Must be a Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia

AUTO-MECHANIC – (HUNTLEY FARM) (01)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
-
Checking, repairing and maintaining and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles. Repairing defective engines or engine components and service.

Performing thorough inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
-
Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.

Using diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems

Conducting test drives to evaluate performance and identify issues not apparent during static inspections
-
Conducting Preventative Maintenance
-
Making necessary adjustments to vehicle systems and performing alignments to ensure optimal performance.

Discussing vehicle issues with customers, providing clear explanations, and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance
-
Keeping detailed records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed
Required Qualifications and Experience:
-
Must have a Grade 12 Certificate
-
Diploma in Auto-Mechanics or Equivalent
-
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Auto-Mechanics
-
At least a holder of a basic Driving License
-
Must be a Member of EIZ
