Job Vacancy: Welder

Position Overview:

Lumina Ventures is looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Lusaka. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding).
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certificate in Welding or relevant technical training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in different welding techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
