Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workshop Inventory Clerk to join our team in Kafue. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining accurate inventory records for all workshop tools, equipment, and materials. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient operations by tracking stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting the workshop team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of workshop inventory, including tools, spare parts, and consumables
• Track usage and movement of inventory items to and from the workshop
• Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and verify against purchase orders
• Issue tools and materials to technicians and record transactions
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as required
• Ensure all inventory items are correctly labeled and stored
• Generate inventory reports for management review
• Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, or related field is an added advantage
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory or stock control, preferably in a workshop or industrial setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate (MS Excel, inventory management systems)
