Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the workshop’s inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels.

Source and order spare parts, consumables, and tools required for repairs and maintenance.

Receive deliveries, inspect items for quality, and verify quantities against advice notes.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including issuing materials to mechanics.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper storage of hazardous materials.

Work closely with mechanics, technicians, and other workshop staff to meet repair needs promptly.

Verify that all parts meet quality standards before being used in repairs.

Precise record-keeping and inventory control.
Key Qualifications & Skills

Diploma in mechanics/certification and any business-related course will be an added advantage
-
Technical Knowledge:
-
Familiarity with Mercedes Benz-Atego, Scania, Faw and Volvo truck models.

Understanding of spare parts and consumables used in truck maintenance.
-
Ability to manage inventory efficiently.
-
Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive or trucking workshop.

Effective communication with workshop staff and suppliers.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop operations.
-
Ability to find solutions when faced with stock shortages or urgent repair needs.

Basic knowledge of inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
