Job Overview:
As a Zookeeper, you will be responsible for the daily care and management of animals within the zoo. Your role will be essential in ensuring the health and well-being of the animals while providing educational experiences for visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and monitor the health of a variety of animal species.
• Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
• Assist with veterinary care and treatment under the guidance of veterinary staff.
• Educate visitors about animal behavior, habitats, and conservation efforts.
• Participate in animal training and enrichment programs to promote natural behaviors.
• Collaborate with other zookeepers and staff to ensure high standards of animal care.
• Conduct regular health checks and report any concerns to veterinary staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, Animal Science, Wildlife Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with animals in a zoo or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and welfare practices.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical demands of the job.
